Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Raster Logic, LLC (“Raster Logic”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the Raster Logic Service at rasterlogic.com. Raster Logic, LLC is the controller of your personal information. You can reach us at support@rasterlogic.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, Apple, or an email magic link, we receive your name, email address, and a profile identifier (and avatar, if provided) through our authentication provider.
- Project & content data. The layouts, designs, and project files you create are stored in your account so you can access them.
- Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your billing and payment details directly; we do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited transaction and subscription-status information (such as your plan, status, and renewal date) to provision your access.
- Usage & analytics data. We use product analytics to understand how the Service is used — for example, pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Error & diagnostic data. When something goes wrong, we collect error reports and technical metadata to diagnose and fix problems.
- Bug reports. If you submit an in-app “Report a bug,” we collect the message you write, a recent tail of your browser’s console log, and — only if you leave the boxes checked — a screenshot and a copy of your current project, to help us reproduce the problem. Project files are stored privately and shared only via a link in your report.
- Cookies & local storage. We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account;
- process subscriptions and manage your plan and entitlements;
- respond to support requests and feedback;
- understand and improve how the Service is used; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the bases of performing our contract with you (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), your consent (where requested), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information (sub-processors)
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, database & file storage | Account info, project data, beta screenshots |
| Paddle | Payments & Merchant of Record | Name, email, billing & payment details, transaction history |
| PostHog | Product analytics | Usage events, device/browser, approximate location (from IP) |
| Sentry | Error & performance monitoring | Error reports, technical metadata |
| Vercel | Application hosting & delivery | IP address, request logs |
| Google / Apple | Sign-in (OAuth) | Name, email, profile identifier |
| GitHub | Beta issue tracking (only if you submit a report) | Your report contents and attached screenshot |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations (for example, billing records held by our Merchant of Record).
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights — including deleting your account — contact us at support@rasterlogic.com. You can also opt out of non-essential analytics cookies through your browser settings.
8. International data transfers
We and our service providers are based in or process data in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
